Rem 700/Clone Barrel Kit
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH REMINGTON 700 ML
These barrel kits include everything you need to build a smokeless muzzleloader on your existing Rem 700/Clone action. Barrels are 26" long and .750 at the muzzle.
Other length/contour options are available for special order.
We find these are the best and most common options:
.40 caliber with 1-15 twist.
.45 caliber with 1-18 twist.
.50 caliber with 1-22 twist.
Screw this barrel into your receiver, remove the extractor and plunger from the bolt and you are ready to shoot! No machining is required to install. Should be installed by a competent gunsmith with proper tools.
Kit includes the following:
Stainless, nitrided cut rifled, hand lapped barrel.
3/4-24 brake threads for use with our brakes.
CHS Lug, (this allows headspacing without machining)
Shim kit for headspacing.
LR Module breech plug with .035 carbide insert .
20 pcs LR Modules.
Thread protector cap.
1.0625 x 16 threads fit Rem 700.
1.0625 x 18 threads fit Kelblys Atlas.
1.0625 x 20 threads fit Defiance Outcast.
