The most common reason for this is not operating the action properly. The break trigger not being pulled back all the way will not re-cock the hammer. If the orange cocked indicator is not visible, the rifle will not fire. Pull the break trigger back until you feel and hear a click. When the break trigger is released, the orange indicator will drop down and be visible.
