Faster twist rates will stabilize longer - heavier bullets. It has been proven over the years that good quality, lighter bullets can be shot in fast twist barrels with great accuracy. Some low quality bullets may not shoot well in fast twist barrels. If you do not know why you would want a fast twist barrel, we would recommend the standard twist rates. Standard 45 calibers are 1-24 and 50 calibers are 1-28.
